Social Worker

Phrend Behavioral Health is opening our first office in Northfield, NJ. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Social Worker to join our team.   

As a Phrend Social Worker, you provide comprehensive mental health services that include comprehensive assessment, individual, group, and family psychotherapy, treatment plan development and coordination, and referrals to a diverse clientele base.  This position requires a strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic treatments, and exceptional interpersonal skills.  The ideal candidate will help us build an environment driven by our core values which are kindness, acceptance, respect, empowerment, and sincerity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts an in-depth psychosocial assessment as part of the multidisciplinary assessment for assigned patients.

• Responsible for the Social Work section of the master treatment plan for assigned patients.

• Conducts clinical individual case management, group and family psychotherapy that demonstrate genuineness, empathy, and respect.

• Identify significant changes in patients’ clinical status; documents this in treatment plan reviews and communicates to appropriate members of the treatment team.

• Monitors patient attendance and compliance with treatment planning goals

• Interact professionally with patients, families and staff in performance of daily duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey

• Masters degree in Social Work

• Proven experience as a Social Worker

• Proficiency in electronic health records systems

• Ability to function in a new and changing environment
